About Me

As a lecturer at Baylor University, I teach courses in history that cover U.S. history, world history, and racial ideologies. Additionally, I study the intersections of minorities and American Protestantism in the 20th century. My current project examines black evangelicals and their relationship to black theology. I am also interested in the impact of American evangelicalism on South Asian cultures.

Prior to entering the academy, I served as a pastor in various denominations in the DFW area. My ministry experience in American and Indian American contexts have been vital in shaping my research interests.
